Israeli basketball champion Hapoel Holon on Saturday announced the signing of former NBA and CBA player Manny Harris.
The 33-year-old American shooting guard thus returns
His non-consecutive NBA career, between 2010 and 2017, included a total of 94 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks, averaging 6.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 17.1 minutes per game.
In between, Harris played for the Anhui Dragons of China's National Basketball League (CBA) in 2016 and won the championship with the team.
In 2018, he won the FIBA Champions League title and the Greek Cup with AEK Athens.
Harris joined the CBA again in late 2020 and played 22 games for the Shandong Heroes, averaging 22.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4 assists.
"We all know Manny's great abilities very well and therefore we believe in him," said Holon chairman Eitan Lanciano.
Holon is currently ranked third in the Israeli Premier League, with 12 wins and six losses.
