The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday that 36 British citizens were barred from entering Russia due to London's policy of confrontation against Russia.

Moscow denounced the British government for actively using personal sanctions and conducting an intensive propaganda campaign in a bid to discredit Russia and isolate it in the international arena.
"Having deliberately rejected a creative and constructive dialogue, London continues to pursue the policy of confrontation and, in collaboration with Washington, to spread false information about Russia," the ministry said in the statement.
