The 15th China International Youth Arts Festival kicked off on Tuesday in the eastern Chinese city of Xiamen, with multiple cultural exchange activities held both online and offline.
During the one-week
festival, 20 high-level art troupes consisting of more than 200 young artists from China, Brazil, India, Russia and other countries will participate in over 20 arts activities, such as performances, exhibitions and forums.
The event has also set up sub-venues in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, hosting a series of arts exhibitions and performances.
Initiated in 2008, the China International Youth Arts Festival is the first international youth-oriented cultural exchange activity led by the government in China. Since then, the festival has attracted thousands of young artists from across the world and become a platform for young artists to exchange ideas and enhance friendship.
